No matter what is taking place in Westminster, the people of Colne valley remain my absolute priority.

As an MP I receive hundreds of emails from constituents every week, many requesting support on a range of topics.

I can chase up the DVLA regarding a licence application, query a miscalculated bill or signpost specialist services to name but a few actions.

The best part of my job is seeing the positive outcomes of casework. Earlier in 2026, a constituent reached out to me after their family member suffered a stroke while on holiday. During a stressful time for the family, my team and I worked with the Foreign Office to ensure they had the consular support they needed. As a result, the family member was flown home after two weeks.

I also make sure to visit the amazing groups, businesses and constituent organisations across our constituency. It is an absolute joy hearing the work the people do every single day here in Colne Valley, contributing to the vibrant community that we all know and love.
