Today, during the statement on the third anniversary of the conflict in Ukraine, I raised a critical issue with the Foreign Secretary. The online propaganda from the Kremlin has become a disturbing reality. For years, social media platforms like Facebook and X have been flooded with the false claim that Ukraine is solely responsible for the war. It’s truly extraordinary and deeply concerning.

I asked the Foreign Secretary what measures are being taken to combat this propaganda, which unfairly blames the Ukrainian people for the conflict. It’s essential that we address these false narratives and support Ukraine in their fight for truth and justice.

The UK’s commitment to Ukraine remains ironclad. The UK is stepping up its leadership, providing unprecedented military support, and standing with Ukraine for as long as it takes. We must continue to counter misinformation and ensure that the truth prevails.
