Prime Ministers Questions

During Prime Minister’s Questions I addressed the critical issue of cancer care delays in England over the past 15 years. Drawing from my own personal experience, I highlighted the urgent need for effective reforms and increased investment in the healthcare system and the excellent care I received from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

I asked the Prime Minister for assurances that the recently announced reforms and additional investments would effectively address the issue of delayed cancer treatments.

The Prime Minister responded by outlining the government’s commitment to enhancing cancer care services and reducing waiting times. He emphasized the importance of timely care for cancer patients and the need for tangible improvements in the healthcare system.
